______________________________________
In a world of business and bureaucracy, the human element is all too often forgotten. We, as workers, have more worth than simply the product of our labor. We are the foundation on which the middle class was built, and are the backbone of the public and private sectors.

Through Labor Education, skills training, and academic research, I strive to better the mental health and well-being of all workers, specifically those in the entertainment industries. As a 10-year member of IATSE Local One in New York City, I have seen how debilitating poor mental health can be for workers in precarious, gig-work-based labor markets. Better academic research is needed to better understand what workers need to lead happier and healthier lives.
